Peruvian Heritage Costumes Show
The International Cultural Peruvian
Association is proud to present its third, Splendors of Peru Festival 2009, with
the participation of Peruvian designer René Delgado Lobatón, who has been able
to demonstrate his art and creativity in historical garments inspired in Peru,
he is one of the great creators of preserving the Pre-Inca, Inca and Colonial
origin in sophisticated attire, their fine finishes all handmade and the quality
of the textiles used, highlighting the rich work that is valued in the world
Festival activities include a cultural expo with booths that range from arts
& crafts, books, services and the world famous Peruvian cuisine. Participants in
the event include renowned musicians, folk dancers and local artists. The
festival provides an opportunity for all to learn about the enchantment of the
Incas and experience the richness of the Peruvian Colonial heritage.
Come
and enjoy an afternoon of folk dances perform by a "Ballet Folklórico", as well
as the diverse rhythms of Peruvian music. Feel the ancient Andean Peruvian
music brought to us by Inka the Peruvian Emsemble as you listen the magic of the
‘flute’ with its Andean sentiment or the majestically sound of the Andean
zampońa, or the passion of the guitars. The ambiance will bring you to
experience Peru with harmony, cultural expression and feel the vibrant sounds of
the past and present.
